The town of Eidsvold is serviced by a number of sporting venues including a Council owned Golf Course, Swimming Pool and a Multi-purpose complex where netball, basketball and tennis courts are available.

A Council owned caravan park is available for travellers including cabin and caravan rental and the town also has access to one Hotel/Motel and a Motel, several eating venues and general stores.

Council also operates a library and tourist information centre which services the community, as well as being a Queensland Government Agent and the Queensland Teachers Credit Union Sub Branch.

The town has a fully staffed hospital, a resident local doctor and Blue Nursing Service and other visiting medical services, and has both professional and volunteer organisations of the Queensland Emergency Services.
